we are trying to weld a bush (SS347) and flange (SS304) together in TIG welding, observing a crack, can any one suggest to how to overcome this problem. You will need some 347 rod. Are you sure your flange is not 303 that will cause your cracking for sure. I cannot see why 347 and 304 would be a problem. Only 347 and 303.
